If your browser says the file isn't commonly downloaded, choose "Keep".

Run the installer

Close SolidWorks, then double-click "DXF Export - Installation". Windows then asks for permission to install: click "Yes".

Activate

Open SolidWorks, go to the DXF Export tab › License, and paste your key. You're all set.

Windows shows "Windows protected your PC"?

That's normal for new software from an independent publisher: Windows doesn't know it yet. Our code-signing certificate is on its way; the warning will then disappear.

  1. Click "More info".
  2. Then click "Run anyway".

What the installer does

  • It installs the add-in in "C:\Program Files\DXF Export" and adds it to SolidWorks.
  • It doesn't touch your files or your SolidWorks models.
  • You uninstall it like any other software, from Windows Settings › Apps.
